The William Temple Center
A ministry for students of UTMB

The William Temple Center, located at Trinity Episcopal Church, is a ministry of hospitality for students of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Students gather on Wednesday evenings at Trinity for meals and fellowship. The William Temple Center also provides space for students to study, relax, and grow connections with each other.

The William Temple Center is a ministry of the Episcopal Church. From its beginnings, the function of the William Temple Center is the buttressing of medical education with religion. The motto of the William Temple Center is, "Be thou whole." Though not an actual quote from the gospel, it reflects the Christian interest in the whole person and of Jesus' healing love in body, mind, and spirit.
